Join The Prayer Team

Become part of the U.S. Missions prayer team! As a prayer partner, you join with hundreds of believers like you across the nation lifting up our missionaries, chaplains, their families, and their teams in prayer on a weekly basis. When you give us your e-mail address, you will receive a weekly e-mail of prayer requests submitted to us by our team. (No worries; we won’t use your e-mail address for anything other than this list!)

Be sure you check out our Missionary and Chaplain Prayer Guide. The prayer guide is constantly updated as we add new missionaries and chaplains. Every day it highlights the missionary, chaplain, and spouse who’s having a birthday that day. You can search for a specific missionary or chaplain, or search by day, week, or month. What better way to remember to pray for our missionaries and chaplains than on their birthday!

Prayer requests for this week . . .

Updated June 18, 2018
  1. Pray for U.S. missionaries as they meet with a zoning board concerning issues that affect their church plant. Ask God for wisdom for everyone involved in the decisions. Pray for favor.

  2. Continue to pray for several U.S. missionaries and U.S. Missions staff members who care for elderly parents. Ask God for strength as these caregivers continue in full-time work and ministry. Pray for guidance in decisions that must be made regarding care.

  3. Pray for a U.S. missionary as he travels through the entire lower 48 United States. The Holy Spirit has prompted him to meet with other missionaries in each state and lead them in prayer for revival. Ask God for a spiritual awakening in each community as they pray. Pray for safe travel.

  4. Ask God for a healing touch for the daughter of a U.S. missionary. She is suffering from a growing number of intestinal issues. Ask God to guide the doctors developing a treatment plan. Pray for complete recovery.

  5. Pray for U.S. missionaries who minister to refugees and asylum seekers. Ask God for wisdom as the missionaries build relationships and show the love of Jesus in practical, tangible ways.

  6. Pray for a U.S. missionary hosting an upcoming camp for deaf children within his ministry context. Pray for seeds to be planted and children to accept Jesus. Ask God for a safe and fun experience for each camper.

  7. Continue to pray for a U.S. Missions staff member whose husband recently passed away. She also experienced an electrical fire at her home. Pray for safety as workers repair the damage. Ask God for guidance and peace as she continues to grieve.

  8. Pray for a U.S. missionary who was attacked by a person he was ministering to. Threats have also been made against him and his relief shelter. Pray for wisdom and for protection as the anger and spiritual battles in the neighborhood have become worse in the last few months.

  9. Pray for a U.S. missionary whose children are unsaved. Ask God to place people in their lives to water the seeds the missionary has planted. Pray that they will turn to Jesus.
