Join The Prayer Team

Become part of the U.S. Missions prayer team! As a prayer partner, you join with hundreds of believers like you across the nation lifting up our missionaries, chaplains, their families, and their teams in prayer on a weekly basis. When you give us your e-mail address, you will receive a weekly e-mail of prayer requests submitted to us by our team. (No worries; we won’t use your e-mail address for anything other than this list!)

In addition to the weekly e-mail, you can also find this list at our Facebook page and in the 714 Prayer app (available for iPhone and Android).

Be sure you check out our Missionary and Chaplain Prayer Guide. The prayer guide is constantly updated as we add new missionaries and chaplains. Every day it highlights the missionary, chaplain, and spouse who’s having a birthday that day. You can search for a specific missionary or chaplain, or search by day, week, or month. What better way to remember to pray for our missionaries and chaplains than on their birthday!

Prayer requests for this week . . .

Updated February 19, 2018
  1. Pray for a U.S. Missions chaplain who recently had spine surgery. Ask God for a good outcome and complete healing.

  2. Pray for Chi Alpha campus ministry leaders and students at a university in Texas, following a tragic car accident in which one student leader was killed and two other group members injured. The driver of the other vehicle died also. Ask God to comfort the families. Pray for wisdom for U.S. missionaries as they minister to the group during this difficult time.

  3. Continue to pray for U.S. missionaries experiencing spiritual attack while trying to establish their ministry location. Pray that God will touch the hearts of city leaders and others who can help with the circumstances. Ask God to give wisdom as the missionaries build relationships.

  4. Ask God to comfort families who lost loved ones and students who lost their friends in the Florida school shooting. Pray that Christian students and teachers will be able to share the hope they have in Jesus with others as they grieve.

  5. Pray for U.S. missionaries with Youth Alive as they equip Christian students to share their faith in their local schools. Ask God to help local churches build relationships with the schools. Pray that church members who volunteer as mentors will be able to encourage young people going through difficult situations.

  6. Continue to pray for a former U.S. Missions staff member who recently retired due to health challenges. Ask God to encourage her in this new season of life and continue the healing work in her body.

  7. Pray for U.S. Missions chaplain who trains churches and community groups about awareness of mental health issues and how to support families affected by mental illness. Ask God to open doors for her to share her burden for this vulnerable and lonely population.
