Become part of the U.S. Missions prayer team! As a prayer partner, you join with hundreds of believers like you across the nation lifting up our missionaries, chaplains, their families, and their teams in prayer on a weekly basis. When you give us your e-mail address, you will receive a weekly e-mail of prayer requests submitted to us by our team. (No worries; we won’t use your e-mail address for anything other than this list!)
Be sure you check out our Missionary and Chaplain Prayer Guide. The prayer guide is constantly updated as we add new missionaries and chaplains. Every day it highlights the missionary, chaplain, and spouse who’s having a birthday that day. You can search for a specific missionary or chaplain, or search by day, week, or month. What better way to remember to pray for our missionaries and chaplains than on their birthday!
Prayer requests for this week . . .
Pray for a U.S. missionary couple who are moving from their field of ministry to become college campus missionaries-in-residence. Ask God for guidance and provision in this new role. Pray for many opportunities to share and plant seeds with students. Also pray that their former ministry continues to thrive under new leadership.
Continue to pray for a U.S. missionary as he follows God’s leading to travel the U.S. for prayer with other U.S. missionaries. Praise God for safe travel so far. Pray for continued safety and for a spiritual awakening in each community.
Pray for a U.S. missionary who provides bicycles to college students who need transportation. Ask God for continued provision of bikes to share. The ministry also needs volunteers to repair and refurbish donated bikes.
Pray for adults and teens who have recently completed Teen Challenge and other faith-based recovery programs. Ask God to guide them as they rebuild relationships with family members, look for employment, and seek God’s will for their lives.
Ask God for wisdom for a U.S. missionary whose ministry facilities need expensive major maintenance. Pray for provision of the needed labor and materials.
Pray for U.S. Missions chaplains who minister to legislators in various state capitals. Ask God to give them opportunities to encourage Christian representatives and senators in their faith. Pray they will be a light to legislators who do not know Christ.
Ask God to raise up more individuals to minister in Native American communities. Pray that young Native Americans who accept Christ through church camps and campus ministries will be stirred to reach out to their own communities.
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith;
be courageous; be strong.”
