Join The Prayer Team

Become part of the U.S. Missions prayer team! As a prayer partner, you join with hundreds of believers like you across the nation lifting up our missionaries, chaplains, their families, and their teams in prayer on a weekly basis. When you give us your e-mail address, you will receive a weekly e-mail of prayer requests submitted to us by our team. (No worries; we won’t use your e-mail address for anything other than this list!)

In addition to the weekly e-mail, you can also find this list at our Facebook page and in the 714 Prayer app (available for iPhone and Android).

Be sure you check out our Missionary and Chaplain Prayer Guide. The prayer guide is constantly updated as we add new missionaries and chaplains. Every day it highlights the missionary, chaplain, and spouse who’s having a birthday that day. You can search for a specific missionary or chaplain, or search by day, week, or month. What better way to remember to pray for our missionaries and chaplains than on their birthday!

Prayer requests for this week . . .

Updated April 23, 2018
  1. Pray for U.S. missionaries in foster care ministry. Ask God to guide church teams who volunteer in group homes. Pray that foster teens will make good decisions as they celebrate proms and graduations. Ask God for guidance and provision for teens who age out of the system this year.

  2. Continue to pray for U.S. Missions staff members experiencing difficult circumstances. Ask God to comfort a staff member whose husband recently passed away. Also pray for a recently retired staff member who is working through health issues.

  3. Pray for U.S. Missions prison chaplains ministering in women’s correctional facilities. Ask God to give wisdom as they mentor women preparing for release. Pray that these women will find jobs and an encouraging home church.

  4. Ask God to guide campus ministry teams preparing for summer outreach trips. Pray for safety and provision as they travel. Pray that students participating will grow even stronger in their own faith as they share with others.

  5. Pray for district councils and ministry network conferences happening this spring. Ask God to give wisdom to newly elected district officials. Pray for U.S. missionaries who are active in district leadership as they guide others while continuing in ministry.

  6. Continue to pray for U.S. missionaries expecting new babies this month. Ask God for safe, healthy deliveries. Praise God for recent new arrivals!

  7. Pray for U.S. missionaries who minister to people recovering from addiction. Ask for God’s guidance as they help them rebuild relationships with families and friends. Pray that people in recovery come to faith in Christ.
