Join The Prayer Team

Become part of the U.S. Missions prayer team! As a prayer partner, you join with hundreds of believers like you across the nation lifting up our missionaries, chaplains, their families, and their teams in prayer on a weekly basis. When you give us your e-mail address, you will receive a weekly e-mail of prayer requests submitted to us by our team. (No worries; we won’t use your e-mail address for anything other than this list!)

In addition to the weekly e-mail, you can also find this list at our Facebook page and in the 714 Prayer app (available for iPhone and Android).

Be sure you check out our Missionary and Chaplain Prayer Guide. The prayer guide is constantly updated as we add new missionaries and chaplains. Every day it highlights the missionary, chaplain, and spouse who’s having a birthday that day. You can search for a specific missionary or chaplain, or search by day, week, or month. What better way to remember to pray for our missionaries and chaplains than on their birthday!

Prayer requests for this week . . .

Updated May 22, 2017
  1. Pray for a family member of a U.S. missionary, who recently found out about the recurrence of a fast-growing cancer. Ask God for a miraculous healing touch. Pray for peace for the entire family.
  2. Ask God for a healing touch for a U.S. missionary as he recovers from two serious infections. Pray he will be able to rest and regain his strength.
  3. Pray for the mother of one of our U.S. missionaries who has been diagnosed with aggressive liver cancer. Ask God for wisdom for the doctors and peace and comfort for the family. Pray for a special healing touch.
  4. Ask God to anoint U.S. missionaries who minister to Native Americans. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on reservations throughout the United States. Pray the bondage of addiction and poverty will be broken and many will come to Christ. Ask God to protect missionaries as they minister in remote locations on reservations.
  5. Pray for a U.S. missionary who is suffering from an illness the doctors have not yet been able to diagnose. Ask God to guide the doctors and to heal his body.
  6. Ask God to speak to the hearts of potential volunteers to assist U.S. missionaries, many of whom depend on volunteers for various aspects of their ministry. Pray that God will bring just the right people who are interested in serving alongside the missionaries.
  7. Pray for new missionary associate recruits who have chosen to follow the call of God. Pray this will be the beginning step to a life of full time ministry work. Ask God to encourage them and confirm His will to them.
  8. Ask God to be with college graduates of the class of 2017 as they begin new jobs or pursue advanced degrees. Pray those who have found Christ through campus ministries will be used to expand the kingdom of God wherever they go. Pray especially for graduates to keep Jesus first in their lives during this transitional time.
