The year 2012 marks a historic milestone in the history of U.S. Missions:  seventy-five years of serving as the domestic missions agency of the Assemblies of God in the United States. Through these years, U.S. Missions has filled a unique role of bringing hope to the hopeless and light to a dark world. From the first day of operation until now, the mandate of the Great Commission and the good news of the gospel has been the motivation for our team . . . that none perish.

We are excited to celebrate this great occasion with our missionaries, chaplains, and project volunteers as well as our district partners at the Celebration 75 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, July 10-12, 2012.

Tuesday, July 10, will be an evening of reflection and rejoicing as U.S. Missions “Commemorates the Past.” During the evening service we will reflect on what God has done, rejoice in His faithfulness, and end the evening with a party in honor of AGUSM’s 75th birthday.

Wednesday, July 11, we turn our attention to seeking God’s face in a day devoted to fasting and prayer as we “Consecrate the Present.” Join us for a concert of prayer, a time of fasting, and a rededication of our lives, plans, and ministries to the Father.

The focus for Thursday, July 12 is training to help you “Construct the Future.” From Alton Garrison’s general session to department specific meetings, the goal is to prepare you.

Celebration 75 will provide focused opportunities to reflect on God’s faithfulness, seek God’s favor, and prepare for the future. I look forward to seeing you there as we commemorate the past, consecrate the present, and construct the future of U.S. Missions . . . that none perish!
