Scripture Promises for Healing

  • He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."  Exodus 15:26
  • He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.  Psalm 107:20
  • Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:30-31

Scripture Promises for Times of Struggle and Hardship

  • I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.  Psalm 16:8
  • God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.  Psalm 46:1-3
  • Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.  Psalm 55:22
  • So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:10
  • The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.  Nahum 1:7
  • And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19

Scripture Promises for Guidance

  • In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye.  Deuteronomy 32:10
  • Lead me, LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies—make your way straight before me.  Psalm 5:8

Scripture Promises for Strength

  • “The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.  Exodus 15:2
  • He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Isaiah 40:29
  • It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.  Psalm 18:32
  • The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength.  Proverbs 24:5
  • But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  2 Corinthians 12:9

 

Scripture Promises for Wisdom

  • For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.  Colossians 1:9
  • The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.  Psalm 119:130
  • Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.  Jeremiah 33:3

Scripture Promises for Deliverance

  • I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.  Psalm 34:4
  • The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.  Psalm 34:19
  • If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.  2 Peter 2:9
  • When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.  Luke 9:1
